| I'm interested in the chip, but not the price. There are two edges which look to have several chips missing from the ceramic, as if someone had a hard time prying it out of the socket with a flat headed screw driver. As the pins don't appear straight, I assume this hasn't been tested for functionality? Are you willing to test it? |

The ceramic on Weiteks is rather easy to chip, even with a proper extractor its easy to get minor chips on them (I tape over mine and even then sometimes you get chips lol) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

The price is equivalent to the one I paid for it several years ago. And it is consistent with the rarity of the chip and its condition. The pins are all in whole, there are chips, but I already got it like that. I have not seen the sale of the 33MHz version of 3167 in recent years. I did not check this for functionality, it would be difficult to check ~ 10k chips for functionality, for me this is not the main thing. But if I get the opportunity to insert it in suitable socket and check, I will do it. I think if you need a working chip in excellent condition, it is better to look for the 25MHz version, they are often on sale for $70-100. I myself sold a few pieces in the past. _________________ Wanted: 4 x VT-25-A tubes |

I have a 25 MHz 3167, but I'm looking to do the benchmarks at 33 MHz.

Depending on if the price reduces, I'd be interested. I'm hoping that the my 25 MHz 3167 will be able to cope with 33 MHz for the benchmarks, but I suspect this unlikely. |
