yah there is a scratch there, no traces there though, just a copper fill (ground plane ) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

| I think the only one interesting to solder back would be the ISA slot for using in a retro-computer. The extra DIMM slot won't add much functionality. It's not like Win98 can use more than 512MB, and you can easily achieve that with 2 slots. |

I ran Windows 98SE with 2GB of RAM for years. You just need to modify the cache settings in system.ini. I always did this on any Windows 4 system anyway, as VCache was problematic if left to its own devices. |

| Yeah I know there are tricks for doing that but in many cases it leads to stability problems. It only worked in a few of the times I've tried. |
