Would there be interest in a Athlon 64FX-60, maybe with mainboard+RAM?
I've been thinking of selling mine.

FX series are usually wanted, so should sell if the price is reasonable

You should also specify where you're sending from and give an estimate on weight if with a mainboard.

I'd be interested in an Athlon 64 FX-60, but only the CPU, not the motherboard.

Hello All,

I'm sorry for my late reply, I had some personal problems to deal with.

So I finally decommissioned my good old PC and looked up some prices. I'll post some pictures and hardware info in the next few days.

I found some prices too. An FX-55 goes for around $150, the FX-74 STILL about $250 (like... what the heck). So I think $200 for my FX-60 is decent.
The mainboard is Asus A8N-SLI, worth about $50.
If found these prices on eBay... but the number of hits on FX processors is very low.

So I was thinking: if somebody wants the whole shebang (board+CPU+cooler+4Gib RAM+original CPU box + original mainboard box), then $250 is OK and all other extras on that list will come free, notably RAM and cooler, of course.
I would prefer the latter solution and get rid of this perfect winning team rather than take it apart and be stuck with some of the items.

I live in Belgium, so the shipping cost will probably be somewhere between 30 and 60$ depending on the service.

Please let me know if you need specific hardware info. I can still boot up that PC and run some diagnostics, if anyone would want it. At the moment, Linux is installed.

Not a shot.
Any one of those goes for $40-50 max in the US.

Asus A8N-SLI in Poland costs ~ 17 USD, Asus A8N-SLI Premium ~ 25 USD.

Hmmm, the FX-74 above is indeed a sealed box. But still:

eBay US lists nothing below 80$ for FX-5x processors, as far as I can see.
And moreover: I can't find any 2nd hand FX-60.

Can you give me some links with said prices?

I quoted a price for a closed box (here), which I acknowledge is another ball park. But: all other prices I could find (except one from China) are at least $80 for FX-5x CPU's, and I can't find the FX-60.

I remember I bought this CPU because it was the only dual core FX available for socket 939, and I believe also the fastest and final CPU for that socket.

Most non-boxed single core FX-5x go for $50 to $60 on eBay usually. Your FX-60 is dual core though. I see one sold there for $169.99 two months ago: https://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-Athlon-64-FX-60-ADAFX60DAA6CD-SOCKET-939/312511045636

eBay shows history for the last 3 months only and I don't track this model specifically, but there was another one sold for $74.95 on the 17-Dec-2017 that I didn't buy for a reason I don't recall now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-Athlon-64-FX-60-2-6GHz-Dual-Core-Processor-ADAFX60DAA6CD-Socket-939-Working-/132392200444

Personally, I find 'worth to be relative to the eye of the beholder, or how bad somebody wants it. GL with sale.
