The AM79C950KC was a custom chip AMD Developed for APple in the early 1990's and used in the APple Networlk Server, the PowerMac 9500 and several others
It was also known as the CURIO. This CMOS chip contanied the equivalent of a 53C94 SCSI controller (licesned from NCR) a full Ethernet MAC (79C940probably), and an 85C30 serial port controller.
