I have several pieces like the top left. It is AMD socket F. None of my samples POST. I believe it is a mechanical sample.

Top left is a terminator for Dual Socket system with only one CPU

Oh. Under what conditions is a terminator required or recommended?

The top right is an Intel SoMa, but no one knows what they are:

And the bottom right is very interesting, a 6 character Qspec on 775?

Looks like bottom right has TV as the two extra letters after Qspec, so seems to be some test vehicle. Likely it's for thermal testing because of position for thermal probe and no components on back side. It doesn't look like any working CPU with all the components on back side intentionally left missing.

2. Intel Soma (unworking 4-core cpu)
3. Intel Core2Due 2.33Ghz cpu with interesting stamp

It's getting funny about the SoMa. If you do a quick google search you'll find blog entries from last 2 days speaking about that.
