So these were sold without the heatsinks pre-installed? That explains why so many dont have heatsinks. _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

I think some may have been sold with, and some without. I have a few NOS ones, all came with HS preinstalled.
(they're all the 20/40 variety) |

For the small box, did they come with or without the adhesive pad? _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

Because I don't see them in this seller's photo. Seems really odd to sell the heatsink off the CPU and without the thermal adhesive pad. _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

The heatsinks in the photo have the thermal pads on them. The blue is the protective material on the thermal pads. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

That "blue" looks more green on my monitor and looks like the underside of the heatsink. Didn't Cyrix use white thermal pads? _________________ The only thing I hate more than straightening CPU pins is having CPU's with bent pins in my collection. |

On my monitor, the bottom of the heatsinks is blue, which is the colour of the tape on the self adhesive thermal pad, to stop it sticking to anything else. On the top of the last photo _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
