I am sorting through so old CPU's of mine. I came across 3 slot 1 CPU's that are missing the casing. Two are Pentium 2's since the L2 cache chips are present. I took a picture of each

Could you take a picture including the complete PCB? Preferably both sides ..

External cache doesn't necessarily mean Pentium II, Pentium !!! with the Katmai core also had external cache.

Well, cache chips seems to be 4 and 4.4 nS respectively, resulting in 250 and 227 MHz, thus CPU is absolutely no more than 500 and 450 - and more probable 450 and 400 - so you're probably right, they are PII's. Isn't there any text on the white label on the backside?

The third is most definately a P!!! Coppermine of some sort ..
