I ended up with an extra one of these, perhaps the most rare Pentium Pro spec made.

This is the elusive SL2FJ and its still sealed in its box, I dare not open it and release the beast that resides inside

Boxed Part number is UBOX50521166512 SL2FJ

Please PM me your best offer

The last one of these that sold went for $600, with an opened box, so aiming for around that.

(Its one of I think 5 known )

And that's still less then, for example, the more common C4004. Of course, almost every CPU collector wants a C4004, but I think that also almost every CPU collector wants this Pentium Pro.

If I had the money I would buy it instantly. You can get a C4004 every month, but not this one.

Indeed and its needed to complete Pentium Pro collection

Interestingly this is also the only 512K Pentium Pro in retail box. They never made one for the 200/512 that I am aware of

And it's sold, someone is very happy right now. And the rest of us are drooling and thinking "only if I had the money" lol

With a bit of luck someone finds a warehouse full of those, one can only dream.

Intel didn't even bother to put the correct photo of a 512K cache Pentium Pro on the box??? That's at least a $100 discount right there! Laughing

Edit: the CPU die shot is wrong too! That's not the 0.35 μm die.
