Hi, I am trying to see if my new laptop which has a AMD A4-9120E Processor will support software that requires it to support SSE2.

Yes, that APU support SSE2. The following link contains the full list of supported features.

Anything beyond the Athlon XP and Pentium 3 supports SSE2.
