Very interesting. First time I see it BOXed. I suspect it contains only -2 FPU right ? CPU -1 was extra. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

No, the 2 chips are both necessary for it to work. The CPU is a repackaged 486DX, and the "FPU" does contain some circuitry that generates some signals necessary for the motherboard to recognize that there is a FPU in the system. |

You think they are both in that BOX ? Only one "windowed" and label says coprocessor that is why I'm suspicious. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Can't say for sure without opening the box. But I suppose both are included as RapidCAD is "all-in-one" solution. |

Intel rapidcad engineering coprocessor is the official name for the product (2 chip sollution). I don't think you had to buy two boxes, it doesn´t make sense and it would be quite confusing. _________________ Looking For Chips 386 J38605DX, Symphony FPU, Rise Tiger, MP6-II, Winchip 3&4, IDT C6-Early Logo, Nx686, Tesla 8088, L80C86, Bulgarian 8088, Pentium 4 QT69ES. |
