| Found in a scraplot about 30 of them. They look like never been used. |

The NexGen NX586
It was an excellent chip that competed with the original Pentium (often being faster). Unfortunately, while it was code-compatible, it was not pin-compatible and required a proprietary motherboard with its proprietary socket and chipset. |

Nice, my best guess looking at the die is that it's a philips PXA microcontroller, the 16bit evolution of the 8051. Would love to have one.
It could also be something by ST. Whatever the case it's a MCU. |
