You think key chain? They do not seem robust enough. Anyway I listed them on ebay now.

Definitely keyrings, but designed for collectors, not to be used. At least, I hope they don't expect them to be usable Smile

I don't know what they were meant for, but I've seen IBM employees attach these to the zipper on laptop bags etc to make it easier to spot and hold the part you open the bag from.
