Absolutely awesome bit of memorobilia... don't see this around much any more.

It's incredibly heavy for it's size, nd just looks wonderful.

It was made by intel around 10 years ago commemorating the 25th anniversary of the worlds first CPU!

It actually has the 4004 DIE encased in the clock face...

Words cannot say enough for this piece...

See pics

Nice clock. I have seen a couple sell on Ebay and even bid but was always outbid. Looks like you probably got me as well Laughing

I 've seen a few clocks with 4004 on eBay a year or so ago, but I haven't seen any of them recently. If I remember correctly the price for them was in the range $60 - $100.

I bought it off some one, who to be honest - didn't know the value of what he was selling... So I don't think showing you what I paid would do the item justice.

I have been collecting for a couple of years and this is the first time I have noticed one.. they are getting rare. To give you a rough idea on price I would not let this go for under $200 on an Ebay auction.

Item is not expensive and not cheap. I think in the middle. But still I think it was worth for super beauty Wink

That was a very nice piece!

As i collect Intel memorabilia this is interesting. My limit would be around $50-60 i think. Since its not limited and there are no other price references, $200 seems a bit much (for me).

And yes, i know what you paid... Cool

several people know... But this isn't a fair way of pricing it. What if the same guy had a C4004 and I bought that off him for £50 - it wouldn't be the appropriate value...

This - My own admission was a steal - the price tag represents that nobody else has one for sale.

I had noticed that they said it came with the protective plastic, but completely missed that they enver mentioned or showed a box. Strikes me as odd that they kept the "protective plastic" - whatever form that takes - and not the box.
