Here are some nice ST Processors
The STiH207 is Audio Video Processor with 3 cores
The main Applications processor is a 650MHz ST40-300 CPU (7 stage RISC CPU) with full MMU and FPU and 32K I/D Caches backed by a 256K L2 Cache
(The ST40-300 is STs licensed implementation of the Hitachi SH-4 CPU)
There is a seperate ST231 VLIW processor for handing audio and yet another ST231 core for handing video decoding.
The ST231 is a MCU developed with HP Labs as the Lx Architecture)
Quite the collections of companies works here, with ST Hitachi and HP involved
