|
|
| Without rambling, I ordered a ryzen 9 3900x and the delivery driver threw the package over a 6.5ft fence and it landed on my driveway. Should I risk it and keep it or is it too fragile to risk and get a return/exchange? Basically, how durable/strong are these? |

If it was properly package or in the original box, it will be OK. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

If the box isn't significantly damaged (especially in the area where the CPU is), it is probably fine.
CPUs are extremely resilient in comparison to other major components (PSU, GPU, mobo, etc) _________________ My collection |

| Chip, if properly packed in original packing, will probably be just fine. They're really well packed. |

| I just hate how with the Ryzen 9 packaging, the cpu itself sits right and the very top... I’m still quite hesitant?? |

This is how CPUs have been packaged for a very very long time.
If you post a picture, we might be able to give you a better idea. _________________ My collection |
