These are an interesting one, these were marketed and sold by 'Technician Components Group', a division of GE, basically a supply house for sourcing TV/Radio repair parts
They didn't make the parts, they just stocked, tested, packaged and supplied them to technicians. (similar to NTE (New-Tone Electronics, also part of GE) and ECG (part of Philips I believe)
The dies on these are marked AMD 1981 9716B
I needed one so bought 2 extras in case others did, not cheap but a neat EPROM
2x TCG 2716 $9 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
