Here is my story on this microprocessor:
I acquired IBM PS/2 Model 80 with this 16 MHz cpu with enough memory and disk space to install original Microsoft Windows 95 back in the late 1990s. My first attempt to install Microsoft Windows 95 cough up a dialog box saying "You cannot install Windows 95 on a 80386 computer that has a B-step processor" during the installation process.
Undaunted, I went to the first computer store and asked for 80386 microprocessor. They laughed at me about my request. Still, undaunted, I went the second computer store and asked the same thing. The dealer was happy to produce me the 25 MHz version of Intel 80386 cpu for US$ 25. I bought it on spot and went home to swapped the CPU.
Happily, the Microsoft Windows 95 installed completely and was merrily away.
Mortal of the story from more than twenty years ago, I learn a thing or two from this installation snafu from this site: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions//cc751081(v=technet.10)?redirectedfrom=MSDN
