I bought a NOS RGBLED display for one of my Precisions but it arrived broken, and it doesn't seem like the postal services are going to help us (me+seller) out in this case. What are my options beside filing a Paypal claim?

Seller can pay you back voluntarily. If the seller doesn't want to do that, you can only fill a Paypal claim. Hopefully he has sent it with insurance so he can claim the money back from the postal service. But that isn't your problem. Postal service can't help you because you are not the sender.

I'm also starting to think it'll turn into a Item Not As Described claim on PP.

Item Not As described is the most usual way to handle

Seller wants to partially refund me, should I take it or just open a Paypal claim at this point?

God, i'm going to go batshit with a sledgehammer on that screen soon. Fuck the Greek postal services and especially fuck eBay. 'tards in Greece told the seller that I needed to open my parcel with supervision of a PostNL employee so s/he can assess the damaged screen, wtf?

Fill a claim, unless you are happy with a partial refund.

Except opening a claim would possibly mean sending the screen back.. F that. I had to send back a broken (cracked die) C2D T7600G last year and I never saw my money back.

Taking my loss and taking the partial refund. Sigh. €50 and a NOS display down the drain because some underpaid retard had to throw my screen around Sad

Look, having waited months for eBay gear only for it to arrive broken, I understand your frustration. But is there a way to express your feelings without using ableist slurs?
