0 is actually an assembly and test plant code
0 - A6/T6 in San Antonio de Belen, Costa Rica (since April of 1998)
1 - CV1 in General Trias, Cavite, the Philippines (since June of 1998)
6 - A4 in Chandler, Arizona, the USA
8 - F14 in Leixlip, Ireland
9 - Penang, Malaysia
A - Penang, Malaysia
Q - Penang, Malaysia
R - A2/T11 in Makati, NCR, the Philippines
Y - F10 in Leixlip, Ireland
There were 3 assembly and test plants in Penang: PG6, PG7, PG8. No idea what code refers to what.
This CPU was manufactured in the 250nm P856.5 process with a 5% smart shrink of contacted poly pitch from 500nm to 475nm and minimum metal pitch from 640nm to 608nm. Locked like all CPUID 652 Pentium II.
