I just acquired for sale a large lot of prototype PGA parts with taped-on lids. There are gold plated, aluminum and ceramic lids, and a variety of sizes and pin counts and patterns. None have part numbers, but some have test results or labels added. Most have a fair amount of pin bendage, but not so bad they couldn't be straightened. There are two 48 pin and one 40 pin DIP parts also. Since they are "mystery chips" I am thinking of selling the lot to the gold scrappers, I estimate I can get $100 to $120 judging by weight, (Just under 2Kg) but I hate to scrap anything without checking the collectibility first. If any one wants some of these I am offering them at four pieces - your choice - for $10 plus postage. Offers on the entire lot are welcome also.

Interesting, thanks!
I`ll take from the PGAs one each from those types - upper right, upper left, bottom row center
and from the dips - one the two identical ones (WFK102A).

Probably if someone else is interested, we can split she shipping costs to AVICC?

Moved to "For Sale/Trade (collectable items)" forum. You'll probably get more views and interest here

Sorry if that was unclear! My intent was $2.50 each, minimum 4 parts to make it worthwhile. I will sell you a set of 6 like the photo for $15.00.

On second thought I`ll take also the other three types from the PGAs, so - 6 PGAs + the abovementioned DIP. 10x

Wow, lot more interest than I thought!
I will PM each of you a photo of what you are getting before shipping to be sure I have it right. I am separating them by size and pin count / pattern only, it is likely that there are different things inside.
The decapped parts are from the same lot. All parts are from ST Micro, the gentleman I acquired them from used to work there. I do take Paypal payments, we can hook up via PM when ready and I will invoice you. Lastly, don't worry, there are plenty to go around!

OK, that went fast!
I have enough for everyone that spoke up so far, but I am now out of the small ceramic and small gold lidded packages. I have two more of the large aluminum lidded packages, lots of the small aluminum parts and lots of the large gold parts. I also found two medium size gold lid parts not in any of the photos, I will use one along with a no-lid small gold part to make a set for aberco should he want one. After that I have only the small aluminum and the large gold parts.
