It means some kind of engineering sample here that usually tied with other Q series we have listed here. Apparently this QDF is not listed here Confused

I see this was made in week 33 of 1979 here for Dark Ceramic packaging version.

"QDF" is usually a placeholder for a future Q-Spec.

So clearly ES to me.
