Hello! Just wanted to share with you a little project I made recently using a very old HP display.
The project aims to measure CO2 concentration in private closed spaces like home or work. Co2 concentration also indicates covid concentration in air, so the main goal is to know when to ventilate.
Apart from that, the display is very cool. Is a 4 character 5x7 matrix LED (called back then Solid State Display), HDSP-2000 made by HP. The date code in the back is week 20 year 1984 and is made in ceramic support.
Read more about it here. |

Very nice display, and I appreciate your clever wiring technique!
HP made some very attractive displays. I've used the HP-5082's which are a bit more common and nice looking. |
