Some of them are in really bad condition and worth something around scrap price. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I can clean them up and straighten the legs, but I leave that up to the particular collector.
I know what the scrap value is and I will be tossing them in with 486s within a day or two if there are no reasonable offers. |

Be careful when straghtening especially those with green PCB layer at bottom. They had very weak pins. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

| These chips were popular in 3rd party overdrive style products. The green stuff are PCBs and bits of PCBs which acted as interposers to make these compatible with various older boards. That often involved the 3rd party cutting some of the pins on the WinChip, and adding in various resistors and switches. Sometimes the PCB would also provide power to a small fan that came in the kit. You will see a lot of the tops have glue rather than hs compound. This is another sign that these were a part of an upgrade unit with a fan glued on by the product designer - rather than coming like that from IDT. It looks like at least one of these was an Evergreen MX Pro 200, and you can find plenty of images online of what those look like when they're not broken. |

| Oh that’s pretty cool. Wouldn’t mind having an intact one in my collection. Thanks! |
