I recently picked up a IPDS100 development computer
Its based on the 8085 and came with a 8051 emulator.
I pulled the mainboard today, and low and behold, it runs on a pair of toshiba 8085AP-2's

The 8051 Emulator has the VERY rare C8051E(G) CPU in it.

I'll probably be selling or trading it soon.

Sounds nice, I'd love to see some pics of both boards...

I havent figured out how to use this yet, but it is a dual CPU system, and will multitask with the pair of 8085's
I can switch between CPU's with the keyboard, how cool is that

That is so cool I've got ice on my screen!

I take it the C8051E(G) is under the (heatspreader?) with the label on it?

I've started looking out for that sort of kit recently - not necessarily dual processor, but development kits of all sorts - but I'm specifically looking for those which are wrongly listed so I can get them in my price bracket (and as eBay.co.uk doesn't ahve the same categories in the US I keep missing some of the best items because they don't show up in the few categories I watch - I need to broaden my searches and watch another dozen areas!)

That's a shame - I will have to get extremely lucky to be able to afford that Sad
