sebskyman and crazybubba64, decide if you want this one or will wait for the others, both work for me.
Interesting about the ingot being doped with boron. I was thinking that doping is done after it is sliced into wafers, no?
So this one was doped while the crystal was being grown? |

When it suits your process to create a solid piece of N or P material, this is absolutely your best option. It is much easier to introduce boron impurities when the silicon is melted, so the crystal can grow with impurities, rather than try to introduce new atoms into a crystalline structure after it is formed and solid. |
