Hi,

what would be the reason to be overpriced?. I just post it on a similar price for what they got sold.

1) it is easier to get that kind of price for a single MCM -- as most collectors don't want 4 of the same model

2) one of your MCMs only has one die...
which makes it less-attractive, at least for my tastes

I'm pretty interested in the top two, I know they're rare and in another country. but certainly don't want to pay too much.

I think everyone is, but that's why you bundle the less popular item with the more popular ones. It also appears to be a slower market lately. Things are lingering for longer on the bay than they did a year ago.

Hard to find anything good that isn't many thousands of dollars sadly... Seller here did seem to have them posted individually in the past, but yeah probably wanting to sell all at once.

They are too expensive because they are all damaged, with large chips out of the ceramic plates and many broken dies.

Tried contacting this seller on eBay interested in buying one or two of them, no reply but the listing price was lowered a bit.

Chriscosmo12,
let me give you a little advice regarding the different items for the collection. Buy initially only in perfect condition. Otherwise, over time, you will have several identical CPU / MCM in different condition and you will be puzzled by the question of where to put the extra ones.
Yes, there are some very rare ones, in which case you can buy with defects, but the common one does not make sense to buy everything in a row (IMHO)

Yeah, that's understandable. I have been holding back on purchasing damaged chips just because I've seen people buy better condition ones for around the same price. Just unsure which are actually rare or common since there have not been many at all on the market lately.

Study information resources, ask hobby colleagues .....
who searches, always finds.
Ask here, there are many collectors of MCMs, we will always help in any way we can.

ahh ok. then i will brake it down into singles.

I think with one die 75€
the large one 200€ and the two 10x10 150€ each.

many collectors insist on perfection...

as an educator, I'd rather have an imperfect example than none at all

I liken it to collecting Big Foot... would you turn down a specimen if it only had one foot?!
