Downsizing My Collection - Everything Must Find a NEW Home!

Up for your consideration is a Texas Instruments / Ti486 SXL2-50 - the fastest single-chip CPU upgrade for a 386 based PC!

Looking for a Cyrix / Cx486 DRx2? This is identical, except instead of 1KB, this has a full 8KB of L1 cache!

Play Doom, or your other favourite DOS games on your 386 mobo with this bad-boy CPU - turn those slow painful slideshows into smooth, slick motion with this 386 upgrade CPU. Those have one know that this is the FASTEST single chip CPU upgrade out there for a 386!

Simply drop the CPU into the socket, and use the same software used to control a Cyrix / Cx486 DRx2 to enable the cache in DOS, and you'll have up to 50 Mhz and 8KB of L1 cache at your disposal.

Performs just like a real 486!

Can even run Windows 95! (really, I have tried!)

For those who know, this is a very very rare CPU. Tested and fully functional. Cosmetic condition is excellent, no bent pins, see images for details. Would make an excellent choice for the serious collector.

Will be packaged with care. Pins inserted into anti-static foam and further packaged then boxed.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

As with all vintage computing items, this is sold as-is, however, the item has been tested to boot into DOS, with clock doubling and cache enabled successfully.

Collecting rare Vintage CPUs? I also have a Cyrix 5x86 120-GP for sale, listed at the same time. Check my profile for listing details.

Happy Bidding!
