I'd love to add one of those boards and CPUs to my collection if they come up for sale Smile I bet most x86 collectors will beat me to it though Sad

I acquired a good number of these systems from the prior owner. I distributed most of them to members of the team that helped design the processor, and have a few left. I am hoping to donate the rest to legitimate computer/tech museums. Can anyone recommend reputable museums? I am already aware of the Computer History Museum in California.

Virtual museums counts ? If yes, I would be more than glad to get samples and show it on x86-guide.net !

There’s a computer museum down in Cockeysville, Maryland. It’s called System Source. I went there when I was younger, you might have to email the museum owner.

Sorry, I would prefer to send physical artifacts to in-person museums. If you would like to host photos of various components, I would be happy to take some specific pictures.

Computer History Museum is cool, but unfortunately they sell a lot of what they get on eBay.

My museum is by apt only and a bit of a mess, but also online.

Do you have anything documentation wise on these chips/boards? that would be pretty neat to have

Hi John, I did send you an email a couple days ago, maybe it ended up in your spam folder?

Interesting to hear that about the Computer History Museum. Maybe they only sell their duplicate artifacts? I'll ask them about this whenever they finish updating their databases and start accepting donations again.

As for documentation, for legal reasons we could not take anything (including digital documentation) with us when we left Centaur. That means that the only documentation available is anything that was already public before Centaur shut down. That includes:

... and that's probably about it.
