I like the look of some of the fake Tillamooks etc, and I thought that a a whole load of you had already bought some and realised afterwards they were remanufactured chips, I'd be silly not to ask you lot for them.
What have you got to offer? _________________ 4000+ chips.

I have a fake i386DX-20. It's in fact a i386DX-16. That means 25% overclocked. It's for sale. _________________ Frank. |

Ah, the ones I was after in particular were the Shiny ones and the black ones that were mass produced/Counterfeited in China. _________________ 4000+ chips.

Just in interest..or maybe in another topic....How many different chips did they mass produce? Or how many different chips are known to be fakes? ...and how/why did they get away with it, if they did?

There are plenty of threads running on the fake chips. I believe there is less than 10 different types. All around Pentium spec, all Gold or black.
I'm surprised nobody has got many for sale... _________________ 4000+ chips.

there have been many threads on this.. generating a demand for fakes will result in fakes for collectors. So far there are the fakes for production, which date back to 90's. I am sure there are modern fakes now, who knows?! I havent seen any chips faked for collectors, but it will happen sooner or later. Thats why sites like the photolibray and many other are good. So we know what to look out for.
.. so I say again.. generating a demand for fakes will result in fakes made for collectors. |

mmmmya, probly.....Maybe just a different topic section for sale/trades of fakes, just to keep them out of the good stuf...They are after all, collectible as well in my opinion...But a real collector knows the difference between the two.
