New sockets produced by Framatome in 1998-2000.
Compaq ate DEC in 1997 and decided to solder all Alpha 21264 CPUs to their boards. Who knows why, because saving a few bucks on a socket of such expensive systems doesn't seem a brilliant idea. It made CPU upgrades very complicated.
I don't think there are any other CPUs using this socket, so it's pretty much Alpha exclusive.
$5 each
Sending either directly or to the AVICC if there are enough buyers to justify shared postage. Directly $10 for up to 4 sockets.
