So, I've been trying to resurrect an old beast that's been with me a LONG time that has a special place in my heart. It was with me in a really crappy time in my life and I've lugged it thru several moves and want to get it running again.
It's a dual Itanium 733 development / ES platform server. Carries an Intel part # that doesn't exist. Shares parts with an HP Integrity but the numbers don't match. Firmware is obviously development and shows a LOT of weird register settings / debug info during boot. Weighs a ton, it's 6U, it's slow, but man it's cool. I had it running Server 2003 64-bit Edition (IA-64) and unfortunately, the SCSI drive that was the C vol is dead. Dead dead. I figured it'd be no big deal to throw another drive in and get it running again but for the life of me, I can't find the Server 2003 64-bit disc and COA / serial # I used to load it back in the day. I've spent the last few months scouring the ends of the internet looking for a disc with matching COA but I keep ending up with ISOs of retail, OEM or whatever other versions there are and none of the COAs I can find work. I'm sure it's a mismatch of COA and disc but I haven't had any luck. Unfortunately, in Server 2003, you have to enter a COA to continue the setup process.
I'm willing to pay good money for a Server 2003 64-bit edition (IA-64) disc or ISO with a matching / working COA to get this thing running again. This is NOT the 2003 x64 edition (x64 isn't the same as the 64-bit version, the latter is IA-64 compatible).
If I can get it running, it's getting a permanent home in my data center. I figure it's earned a nice, comfy spot in a climate controlled rack after being in garages, attics and whatnot over the last 2 decades. |

ISOs are available here, you can look up the hashes of the files online as they were gathered from MSDN/My Visual Studio Downloads:

EDIT: Among these files, avoid anything in there that contains "x64" in its name or that does not make mention of 64-Bit at all. Just look for file names that contain "64bit", "64-bit" or "ia64", though this rule of thumb can differ in other folders. Alternatively, there are multiple sites out there that catalogue the file names, hashes and descriptions, such as dnhash.net or msdn.rg-adguard.net
Activation and not having a key should not be a dealbreaker these days

Also, if I understand correctly, you have a first generation Merced Itanium box?
If so, there are many people out there that would want to see pictures of it running Windows XP Professional 64-Bit Edition, Version 2002 (not based on Server 2003) as it is unbootable on later Itanium hardware.

This would work if I could find a product key that works. I've tried 3-4 different ISOs with all of the product keys I can find, none seem to match up. |

Correct - It's a first generation Itanium box. I'd settle for XP 64-bit if I could get an ISO and matching key or disc with a COA. I think it'd be cool to have Server 2003 on it as it is more fitting and is what I had on it back in the day, but I'd just like to see the thing booting at this point. |
