Intel 82384 logic & Wait-state logic from 386 PAL

Hi, everyone. I am currently working on a 386DX motherboard build, and I need to implement some logic that is comparable to Intel's 82384 clock generator and their PAL for wait state generation.

The 82384's are difficult to find (and if found are costly). Has anyone seen a description of the internal logic (HDL, other) for this chip? I have found the datasheet, but looking for something that better describes the internal logic. https://www.datasheets360.com/pdf/-582942084890649521

Also, in the 80386 Hardware Reference Manual (http://www.bitsavers.org/components/intel/_dataBooks/1986_80386_Hardware_Reference_Manual.pdf), page 8-21 shows a "Wait-State Generator Logic" figure with a 16R8 PAL. I have not been able to find details of what would be in this PAL for logic. Any pointers to where I could find more details?
