|
|
Hello,
3 weeks ago i decided to upgrade the CPU of my old Asus X75VD1. It run a Dual Core Intel Pentium B980.
After hours of searches on the web i finally found CPU-Upgrade website. So according to them i noticed that the Intel i7 2760QM notebook Laptop CPU was ok for my laptop.
I received the CPU yesterday and after install every things was ok and i was very happy of the improvement. But suddenly my laptop stop, i restarted, ok again then stop again, i thunk it was heat problem due to a mistake of too much or not enough thermal paste. but after few rebuild i saw it crashed every 30 minutes exactly.
If someone have an explanation and more important a solution i will really appreciate.
Thanks for help ans excuse my french |

| That's a chipset limitation IIRC, put in a unsupported CPU and Intel ME will kill your laptop after 30 minutes. |
