Interesting video. Technology seems quite old school, wondering if this is from the first generation of missiles or if the new ones are made the same way.

Seems relatively new actually for military stuff. Although I'm probably just too used to looking at things from the 80's. I have seen Virtex FPGAs in BGA packages in space hardware occasionally, and that does have to put up with at least a similarly rough environment (no idea how the numbers compare, could be an order of magnitude off), so I guess the packaging probably could get "newer".
Actually Bunnie had an interesting possible-missile-electronics find a while back: https://www.bunniestudios.com/blog/?p=3649 _________________ High-reliability electronics photography & circuit analysis: https://dcstraney.wordpress.com
