Added this as an Intel in the library but is it? Anyone recognizing the logo?

The photo link appears to be broken.

I had some problems with the hosting today with the server not responding from time to time. Anyone else not getting a pic?

None of the photos on cpuphotolibrary.com are working either. I tried both IE and Firefox, in case it was a browser issue. The photos on cpucollection.se are showing up fine, however.

If I enter the link http://www.cpuphotolibrary.com/data/media/708/mc80c187-12b_lzf7000.jpg

directly into the address bar, I get "HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden."

That should be the hotlink protection. You cant get the pics directly, they have to be fetched via a page on cpu-world.com or cpuphotolibrary.com. This prevents bandwidth stealing when linking directly to the images.

I cant se anything wrong, and since you have tried with different browser... Im out of ideas. It could be some sort of DOS (denial-of-service) protection on the server. Since there are 200 get requests for every one opening the 200+ pic thread. Perhaps the server cant handle the load. I will check with my server provider.

This is what I see when I go directly to the cpuphotolibrary.com home page:

None of the images are working. Makes no difference if I'm logged in or not.

Does your IP-address end with x.x.155.223 ? I can se GET requests to the images without a so called referer. The "referer" refers to the page containing the image. If the referer page isīnt "cpuphotolibrary.com", "cpu-world.com" or empty the pics wont load.

I will check my access rules some more.

(I have run the site for 8 months now with an average of around 50 unique visitors per day and never heard of any problems. Except a chinese proxy i IP blocked for a while because of heavy traffic, which some chinese collectors also was using.)

Okay, problem solved. Looks like turning off referers in the browser is the culprit. I have them turned off by default.

Ok, great!

I have also added "RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$ [NC]" to my .htaccess which then alows an empty refereal. After reading some it also seems like some ISP:s that uses proxies removes the referer.

Thanks for the feedback!
