For sale are some brand new Intel QJR9 Skylake H GT4e M0 stepping samples. The big die has the CPU cores and Iris Pro 580 iGPU. The smaller die is the 128MB EDRAM cache. This is the only known Skylake H GT4e with an unlocked multiplier. The retail Skylake GT4e such as i7 6770HQ were used in the Skull Canyon NUC, while the Xeon versions (1545M V5) were used in the Intel VCU cards.
QJR9 4C8T 8MB L3 1.8GHz (Unlocked multiplier) BGA1440 $13 each or $22 a pair.
These can be modded to run on some older LGA1151 motherboards although the stability is questionable since the iGPU pulls substantially more power than what most motherboards can handle. These modded samples are available too.
QJR9 4C8T 8MB L3 1.8GHz (Unlocked multiplier) BGA1440 (Modded to LGA1151) $20 each.
They will only run on 100 series chipset motherboards with a BIOS that does not support Kaby Lake. It will require a BIOS mod to boot as well. Those will be provided.
Free shipping to AVICC, shipping to other locations can be arranged privately. |

| Would a high-end Z170 board like the Z170M OCF be sufficient for that modded CPU? |

Yes it will be ok. Some of the cheaper boards will not however. |
