I've had this HP "MCS PROCESSOR" board for a couple of years now and haven't been able to figure out what it came from.
I got it from a university clearance sale with some other vintage computer gear.
I think they mentioned it came out of a printer, but it seems a bit too overbuilt for that purpose.
Board is marked "HP 02682-60476 88809L" and has a sticker marked "46-2305" and the underside has "02682-80200"
White ceramic chip is marked "HP 1AE8 6001 12662 3181"
Any ideas on what this is from? _________________ My collection

1AE8 is an HP MC2 16 bit processor, it was widely used in printers, test and measuring instruments and terminals
I have never seen it used in business desktop or computer systems |
