I have decided that I should have a 4004 in my collection but I am not willing to spend the money for a c4004 so I will get either a D4004 or a P4004. What is a fair price for these on e-bay? Also, is anyone selling?

D4004 about $50 NOS. There was a seller on ebay a few weeks ago selling them for around $40, then he upped the price to $60. Not sure if he is still around.

That, and this just blow me away.

I bought my P4004 on ebay a number of years ago for $10 including shipping I think. Some guy was selling about 100 of them, and there wasn't by any means a mad scramble to get one at that price. I always thought the P4004 was the "really cheap" 4004 chip. Wow. Shocked

I guess it was Saceymama or so who sold those masses of cheap 4004s, a friend of mine purchased some there.

$65 for a D-package is quite much money:-/

... but when the prices go up the value of my collection grows too:-)))

There are 15 D4004's in that auction list, make him an offer for $50 (with the Best Offer button). When prices go up there's demand, and when there's demand, there are more collectors in the air looking for the same worm Smile

Plus I do recommend that you get a C4004 now or in the near future. Eventually, you wont be satisfied with the D or P4004 in your collection. Better to pay less now than to pay more in the future.
