Ever wanted a finnicky prototype laptop with a funky bios that was never meant to see the light of day?
Now you just might be able to!
I'm selling a prototype HP EliteBook 820 G3.
From the outside, it seems to be a standard EliteBook 820 G3, but when it boots up, you get all sorts of fun messages such as | Code: | | Warning: This BIOS is Not for Production Use. | and | Code: | | BIOS Build Version: 0000 |
There are definitely more BIOS options available than on a typical HP EliteBook (you can set the serial number and feature keys, pretty cool)
This system is equipped with a touch screen and a fairly nice seemingly-IPS panel display.
i5-6300U QJ8M ES processor
16GB DDR4 (one module is not original to the unit)
Original battery (battery has started to expand and does not charge anymore, should be replaceable with any 820 G3 battery)
backlit keyboard
Intel 64GB SATA SSD (It's what I had lying around to verify this thing actually worked)
Sometimes takes a couple of reboots to successfully make it in to Windows, as the CMOS battery is completely dead.
Does not include A/C adapter. You'll need one of the HP "blue tip" adapters with at least 65W output.
Open to offers. I imagine the BIOS may be useful to the right person more than anything.
I can exclude the original battery if there are shipping concerns.
Free shipping to AVICC, direct at cost. _________________ My collection

Open to lowball offers.
This machine isn't the most special thing in the world and I was really only hoping to find a new home for it.
I'm mainly looking to offset the shipping price, so please feel free to send me wimpy lowball offers. _________________ My collection |
