Here are some interesting and rare chips
These are 3 torus router chips used for the Stanford DASH multi processor system, set up in a wormhole configuration
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanford_DASH
DASH was an experiment in large scale multi processing with cache coherency, only a very few systems were made.
Routing between processors was handled by these router chips
The original CALTECH design a byte wide routing scheme, but Stanford needed more, so it was modified to a 16-bite wide design
I have 3 of these in various conditions
A. EMRC-1D16-DASH chipped $35
B. EMRC-1D16-DASH $50
C. EMRC-1D16-DASH no lid $35 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
