Around 2007-2008, a guy in Taiwan bought a lot of K6 and used an anodizing machine to color the heatspreader. He sold a lot of black top ones but also some red and gold ones (I bought a gold one for something like $10). I'll stay really suspicious about a black K6 without any marking.
