Just wonderin' something here.....
I got a Cyrix GX Media mmx-enhanced (GXm-200GP 2.9v 80C) ceramic.
Does anyone else have one?, or does anyone have on for trade?
I got it out of a laptop, and theres no other way for me to test to see if it's the chip thats bad or not, other then trying another chip !

You can buy special motherboards that work with Cyrix GX chips alone.
It's a nice chip, not the easiest to find, but most of us have on here. _________________ 4000+ chips.

Cyrix Media GX was more popular in laptops than in PC. I can't say they are rare but I see them seldom on auctions. Prices for 180-266 MHz models are not higher than 10 USD. Model 300 and 333 MHz is very rare and extremely hard to get _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
