Gentlemen:
Has anyone successfully powered on an A80386-12 processor using a motherboard? I've tried again and again, but still can't get it to power on.
Thans for your attention. _________________ Webmaster of China Collector's Site

The Intel A80386-12 processor (a 12 MHz 80386DX) cannot boot on its own: it requires a specific motherboard equipped with a compatible chipset, a BIOS, RAM, and an external clock generator. Without these components, it is impossible to "power on," as the 386 has neither an internal oscillator nor an integrated memory controller. It operates at 5V and requires precise signals such as RESET#, READY, and CLK2 to execute any instruction
