This may be a very basic question.
When compared side by side, which is more powerful? The athlon 64 or the intel duo core?

AMD Athlon 64 is dead in notebooks. Now is Turion dual core era. As always similar performance between AMD and Intel. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

| correct me if I'm wrong, but it seemed like the turion was just a low power version of the athlon64, and not a real performance improvement.... is the turion comparable to the duo core? |

| Turion X2 isn't out yet. I don't think it has really even been announced. Core Duo is the undisputed champion period right now. |
