Vintage USSR ferrite core memory, beautiful educational or military example 70-s.

The available plates were released in 1976. They are in identical, perfect collector's condition. There is no damage. The only difference is the serial number on the plate.

The frame outside dimensions (without pins): ~ 3.9 x 3.9 inch

The board outside dimensions: ~ 4.8 x 4.8 inch

Toroid dimensions: 1.0 x 0.7 x 0.35 mm

Capacity: 1 ferrite toroid = 1 bit

A 64 x 64 core memory plate stores 4096 bit of data

The plate is one of 18 plates forming a ferrite core memory BP-20 block. The capacity of the whole block is 73728 bit (9 Kb)

The Memory Block (BP-20) was used in many Soviet-made computers. Currently, this item is of collector's and historical interest.
