Well I know this isnt CPU collecting based, but it is the off topic area so here goes.

After having weeks and weeks without having time to work on my MAME cabinet, I finally got some time on it this weekend.

I've installed all of the PC hardware, the monitor needs a surround and the X-Arcade is only there as a temporary measure until I can get the custom control panel made. It needs loads of other bit and bobs sorting but I doubt they will get done in any hurry as its now playable Smile

Anyway they say pictures are worth a thousand words so here they are..

The first shot is with flash on, the rest are without flash.

and finally one showing some rigerous testing by my kids

Nice, For building my control panel I used a device called an ipac. This was before happ controls made their own. I would go the all happ rout if I did it today. Also, when you get a trackball for golden tee make sure to get a happ with redboard. Mine has the old green board and it is just not as good as my uncle in laws who has the red. If you have any questions on doing the control board PM me. I just played an old friend last night in supermariokart on emulator. I smoked him icon_2gun I've always loved that game. I like it even better with arcade controls then with my super nes.
