Went to the computer shop this morning and was advised to buy the latter (though more expensive), cos AMD is supposed to be worse and subject to overheating. Anyone having exerience here to advise me?

One of my systems is running on Athlon XP (that's my main gaming system) and I don't see any problems with overheating.

Hm, I wonder, why would they advise you to buy Celeron CPU?
