Has anyone else noticed this on their paypal website?

Without sounding like too much of a collectomaniac - the credit card looks kind of cool doesn't it?

So how does it work? I think it would be really cool if it just debited the balance on your paypal account, but I expect this isn't the case.

It would certainly be handy for me because I leave about $2000 in my paypal account for trading.

ALSO.. If I needed the money from my paypal account quick - all companies accept credit cards - They would look at you a bit oddly if you asked if they would accept paypal. Smile

I think it works like a standard credit card. If you want to use money from your PayPal account you can get PayPal debit card. I have one, but I don't use it much. There should be a link "ATM/debit card" on the bottom of every PayPal page.

I have a Paypal Debit card, I use it for almost everything, 1.5% cashback on $1000/month rent is sweet.

My concern would be that if Paypal owns the CC how will they handle chargebacks? If you pay through paypal w/ non-paypal CC you can chargeback even if paypal does not want to, taking to long etc. Extra level of buyer safety. Will paypal let you charge back against their own card if they disagree with you?

Cashback deal sounds sweet on debit card.

That's the point! No trust for a company acting with arbitrariness! Paypal would be the last company I would choose for a credit card...

I strongly agree - Iwas hoping the credit card had some link to the balance on the account.

However - the debit card which has been mentioned is an excellent idea.
