Recently i have unmounted a Lite-On LTN262A 16X (info in all BIOS) because the loader was damaged,so i decided to repair it. When i started to open it the first thing i saw was written in the board is LTN222A/B Rev 04 (http://www.zlurp.com/zlurp/cdrom/full_list.html), so is it a fake cd-rom device??

Actually, thats the other way around.. it looks like the LTN-222A is for a 20x. Probably a common board between the cdroms, with some other minor changes to make it 16x. Not fake Wink

Common part! Maybe just a firmware change?
