It looks like they are going to manufacture wafers only, and AMD will do the packaging. Too bad, I'd love to get non-AMD manufactured Athlon 64 to my collection Smile

Probably will concentrate on the lower end products, as Chartered's 90nm process is fairly maaature and has yet to be transfered to 65nm.

TSMC, which was another option for AMD, is book solid for the year.
